Community Fall Market Saturday at Brent Kennedy Elementary

Brent Kennedy Elementary School, located in South Slocan near the Highway 3A/6 junction 25 kilometers west of Nelson, is hosting a Community Fall Market this Saturday, October 27th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

There will be diverse display of 20 vendors with items ranging from gently used children’s items, collectables, handmade crafts, leggings, crocheted items, handmade cards, succulents, jewelry, fairies, face painting, borscht, homemade preserves and canning, PAC bake sale, and a book fair (open untill 11:45 a.m.) 

A lunch concession will be open & selling hotdogs, popcorn, chips and hot & cold beverages.

There well be a friendly competition to guess the weight of the Fall veggies with prizes donated by Dig garden center for the closest guesses.

Brent Kennedy Tech Club students have worked very hard on building a ghoulish haunted Halloween display. And the Grade 1-6 students have all participated in a Fall coloring contest which will also be on display.

Admission is $1 per person (non school age children free) which includes entry into the door prize basket full of goods and gift cards donated by local businesses, including a $50 gift card donated by Maple Leaf Esso.
