Be A Part Of Kidsport 'Give the Gift of Sport' Fundraiser

KidSport, including the branch in Nelson, has launched its sixth annual Give the Gift of Sport fundraising campaign, calling on Canadians to donate online at KidSport.ca/GiftofSport.
More than 30 percent of Canadian youth under the age of 18 cannot afford to play organized sport. Our annual campaign will run until January 8, 2018 and aims to get more kids off the sidelines, into the game, and experience the gift of sport.
With support, Kidsport hopes to raise $150,000 this year to coincide with the celebration of Canada 150.

The Nelson chapter of Kidsport was launched on January 13, 2007, at Hockey Day in Canada.
Funds raised and awarded here will make it possible to help even more children participate in their sport of choice.
