Area G residents invited to view Land Use Plan

Residents of Electoral Area G are invited to provide their input into their communities’ futures when the Regional District of Central Kootenay reviews the Land Use Plan for that area.
“I encourage all Area G residents to become familiar with their land use plan and attend meetings to ask questions or submit feedback,” said Hans Cunningham, Director of Electoral Area G. “The RDCK wants to ensure that this plan is developed in accordance with residents’ wishes.”
Residents will receive an invitation to the community plan workshops in their mailboxes.
The workshops will be held as follows:
Rosebud Lake and Nelway
Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Salmo Valley Youth and Community Centre: 206 7th Street, Salmo
Apex, Hall Siding, Porto Rico, Ymir and Rural Salmo
Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Salmo Valley Youth and Community Centre: 206 7th Street, Salmo
