The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) has issued an evacuation order for 3966-4013 Broadwater Road in electoral area ‘J’. This order expands on an earlier order for Broadwater Road Sunday morning. The rest of the entire RDCK region, with the exception of Castlegar and Nelson, remains under evacuation alert which was issued Saturday evening.

Adding to evacuation orders for Crawford Creek, Duhamel Creek and Broadwater Road, the Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) has issued an evacuation order for Salmo/Ymir in electoral Area ‘G’.

The rest of the entire RDCK region, with the exception of Castlegar and Nelson, remains under evacuation alert which was issued Saturday evening.

The Regional District of Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) has issued evacuation orders for five properties in the City of Grand Forks.

In a media release Sunday afternoon, the Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) issued an evacuation order for Duhamel Creek (North Shore) in electoral area ‘F’.

Earlier, the RDCK issued Broadwater Road in electoral area ‘J’ and Crawford Creek (Crawford Bay) in electoral area A.
